    Reccomend me a cheap 60hz TV

    Go on.

    It doesn't have to be big or anything, just something relatively inexpensive that I can get my import on with.

    Thanks for yr help;

    I think almost all tellys these days will do 60Hz, although not necessarily NTSC. To give you an example, I was shocked to discover a few weeks ago that my ?80 Bush portable bought from Argos in about 1996 will display a 60Hz signal no problem!

    If you just want to do 60Hz as cheaply as possible, I would reccommend buying the chapest new TV you can find (making sure you can return it, obviously). Chances are it will do 60Hz.

      You can get some Pacific TVs in ASDA for something like ?68 that do the job more than well enough.

        I think my 12 year old Matsui portable works in 60hz, though there was some flickering at the top of the screen when used with my Dreamcast. As I never actually use 60hz mode, I can't tell whether that's just a slight problem or it refusing to work in that mode.

          A 15-year-old portable Sola Vox (who?) set of mine worked fine with PAL60 through the RF input.

            Is that for real?!? It sounds like something from the 'Class Struggle' episode of The Simpsons!

            Homer: Look at these low, low prices on famous brand-name electronics!
            Bart: Don't be a sap, Dad. These are just crappy knock-offs.
            Homer: Pfft. I know a genuine Panaphonics when I see it. And look, there's Magnetbox and Sorny.
