Mac Steam Woes-Half Life 2 related...

Hallo.
Like a wally I was fiddling with the video settings on Half Life 2 and now it won't display the game! I think I set it to native display and I need it to be 1920x1080.
Is there anyway I can reset the video settings or is it worth just deleting the content and redownloading it?

There is a config file in

/Half-Life/Contents/Resources/Preferences

edit that with a text editor, somewhere you should be able to change it to the resolution you want.

Thanks for the reply dude, I was unable to locate the files you suggested so I deleted the local content via Steam and re-installed but it's remembered the video settings.
Any idea's?

Right click the game in your games list, choose properties, then select the launch options button. Add -autoconfig to that, then launch the game again. Assuming it works you will then need to quit and remove that afterwards, else it will just force default settings every time you launch.
