DC Power Cables

Can you use any power cable with the Dreamcast, or does it have to be a special one, and if so is its specialness in the plug?

You can just use a standard power cable mate.

But if its a Japan or US version... DONT!

its a pal console, which I sold on to a mate, but I'm using the pal power lead on my new chipped JPN DC that had the power supply swapped (thanks Kron!). So I was wondering if I could just give him a normal figure of eight lead and I certainly didn't want to just try it first.
