    Variable Rock Band Lag?

    'ey up.

I've got Rock Band 360 see, and it appears that I just cannot get the timing down correctly. No issues on any of the guitar hero games/band hero etc, but even when adjusting the lag it still seems to be an issue.

Anyone else struggle with it? (I've got a Sony LCD).

    Cheers,
    Gary

Never had any troubles with this except for my own bad playing ha ha. Try re-setting back to default and see if that helps. I don't bother adjusting the set up on any of the RB/GH games and it's usually fine for me.

I find difference between the timing of Guitar Hero and Rock Band, so if you are used to GH (as I recall you play a fair bit) then maybe this is the problem.

The hammer-on/pull-off timing in RB is stricter than GH.
But if you're just having trouble with basic strumming, then I dunno.

Let's face it - I must be ****e at it.

Thanks for the B-day wish btw.

I remember struggling a little with RB, the different shaped nodes and GH giving you a slightly larger room for error threw me off

I tried adjusting the lag on various GH/RB games and it always seems to make it worse.
The original GH never had this option btw.
I think I have become acustomed to any inherant lag and compensated for it so I probably couldn't play on a well setup system now.

My friend and I both play GH on expert level. Even when playing on the same AV setup, he will use lag of over 70ms, and I'll use zero.

Most of the time, it's all about the player's reaction time rather than any game or AV issue.

My lounge set up always requires adjusting (plasma tv ran though digital sound) but my gamesroom setup is always fine (lcd tv ran through my old stereo). Make of that what you will.

But you're part robot. Programmed for plastic guitar games.
