GBA SP "R" Button

Hi

recently (yesterday) my beloved GBA SP seems to have developed a problem where pressing the "R" button won't resiter unless I press it really hard. Was working fine in the morning but was in my pocket all day so I guess it could have taken a knock. Everything looks fine from the outside so anyone got any ideas of anything simple I might be able to do to get it to work properly again?

Its not a definite fix, but I have read some people have fixed triggers in GBA/DS's by blowing compressed air along the edges of the trigger to blow out any possible dirt/contaminants (Although if you try this make sure to keep the can upright at all times, otherwise liquid comes out)

i know, last year someone at work sneaked up on me with an upside down can and sprayed the liquid onto my elbow. it hurt, a lot!

anyway, thanks for the tip - will give it a go and see if it sorts the problem

Take it apart and have a look inside, gba sp's are very simple inside. Problem should be reletivly obvious. Gunk I'd imagine.

Spray it in short bursts also! I ended up with the can frozen onto my hand once and had to 'breathe' it free.
