Gran Turismo PSP Car Pack trouble

I have a Japanese PSP activated on a US account.
I downloaded the Car Pack from the US store but when I fire up GT (UK UMD version) those cars don't show up? What's going on?

You need to download the UK Car Pack otherwise they won't show.

DLC for all PSP games is locked to the region of the game. Console and account is irrelevant.

Yeah the content is locked to the region of the game, I was browsing the US store on my PS3 when I saw the cars, downloaded them, wouldn't work with my UK game, went into the UK store, re-downloaded them and it worked.

It's the same with 99% of PS3 DLC as well.
