Will this Sandisk card work with my PSP?

Sorry for the rather basic question, I'm running a PSP 2000 slim and I need more storage. I was under the impression that you needed Pro Duo cards or something, that was what someone told me years ago.

This card is reduced at Play.com and before I purchase it, I thought I'd check here to see if it's compatible with my PSP.

BTW-do you have to create the PSP folders on the card for it to pick it up?

You need Pro Duo cards, so that wont work.

No, that's an SD card, which is a completely different type of memory stick.

Pro Duo cards are typically more expensive because bugger all devices actually use them except for Sony stuff.

CEX have sealed Sony Mark 2 16GB's for £40. I'd rather go with Sony over Sandisk personally. If you're lucky you might find a 32GB for £60. Massive saving over the RRP.

Also CEX do not sell fakes. They test every card they take in so you won't have to worry at all.

I thought SanDisk manufactured all Sony branded memory sticks?

I'd take Sandisk over absolutely anything else. There is a reason they are more expensive.
I still have the POS 4Mb card Sony gave me 'free' with a ?1500 camcorder somewhere.
I think you could fit about 4 still images on it at the time

Sandisk ones do generally beat Sony ones in benchmarks. But in the case of the PSP, I doubt it matters.

I've had a Sandisk fail in the past, so I stick with Sony now. I've got 12 of them and never had any problems.
