ebay asking me to sign in constantly - mac

this is driving me nuts

everytime i try to sell an item on ebay, it constantly keeps asking me to sign in

does anyone know how to remedy this?

You can ask eBay to keep you signed in for 24 hours only – a checkbox on the sign in page. There was a point when I was buying and selling in quantities and got annoyed by it; I read it was an option on the eBay toolbar, but couldn't get it working – I've never been able to do it longer than 24 hours.

I get this sometimes, usually it's when my browser has updated. I find if i close the browser down or restart the system it remedy's itself.
