Any way of saving hiscores?

Is there any way of saving hiscores on final burn? I thought that making a savestate might do it, but evidently not. Any help much appreciated

Is final burn an arcade emu on xbox?
If you are looking to save highscores on an xbox arcade emu Mame0x allows this

Weird, saving the state is how I keep my high scores. So what happens when you choose to load the state the next time? Is there no save file? Or does it not restore it properly?

Ooops - my mistake. Just checked again and it appears to work. Thanks for the replies though.
