Slim 360 license transfer question

I replaced my arcade unit with an Elite just a few months back and did the license transfer online so I could play all my content. It said I can't do it again for a year. Have MS made any changes to that rule now they've released the new 360?

Yes but its nice to know you can play offline too.

The entire DRM thing is a pain and as good as it is that MS actually gave us a solution in the tool, they could have made it much better.

I had this exact same problem, i just explained to MS that i had purchased and transferred all my licenses to a console i bought 7 months ago not knowing they were planning a release of a new console, in that instance they allowed for me to transfer it again. It took from the release day of the 360s to the tuesday to get my licenses transferred.

Just phone them up before you do anything and they should be able to sort it out and walk you through it, make sure you keep a record of all the important details of the old console if you decide to trade it for the new one.

I've always found the quality of service to be preety good with microsoft.
