Headaches from upscaled PS2 games

A few weeks back I had really bad headaches day after day. I was even waking up with them. I finally worked out it was from playing RE4 upscaled on a PS3 and displayed on a 32" lcd.

Other games don't give me such a headache, particularly modern hd stuff. It's a bummer, and renders RE4 basically unplayable, I don't have room for a CRT. I'm now concerned that all PS2/ PS1 games will have the same effect when upscaled. Or perhaps is just the unusual display or RE4?

Has anyone experienced a similar problems?

Maybe just check that your LCD doesn't have a movie mode or any motion effects or 100hz mode turned on.
It could be that it's doing funny things to the refresh rate,
It could also be you need an eye test

Biohazard 4/RE4 is 525p/480p compatible if you hold down triangle and X on boot, perhaps you should use that instead of the PS3's upscaling.

You might be suffering from electromagnetic sensitivity... Perhaps?

I'm sure most people will laugh at such a thing, but I take it quite seriously.
