    not really - the average punter doest really care about perfect image quality/blacker than black/THX accrediated/1080p etc etc

    Space consideration is the most important consideration for most people and lcds obviously fulfil that

    If its retro gaming your taking about, well then yeah the sony crt's are hard to beat. An n64 doesnt look great on a LCD....
