Cannot connect to Xboxlive?

Hi all,
XBL was working fine last night (Monday 30th), but have been trying to get on for the last few hours and it keeps saying it cannot sign me in. I have not recieved an error code just that it cannot get me on to XBLive. The last game I ran was Ghostbusters which was all fine and dandy, just wondered if anyone else had the same issues at the mo?
Have restarted router and tried all the usual stuff with no luck.

I was able to get on for a little while before work today, but went back offline.

AceyBongos says its a temporary problem only affecting certain people.

I haven't been able to connect at all today. Broadband seems fine (computers etc work).

There are a load of people on the official Xbox forums who are having the same issue so it's probably nothing wrong with your set up.

Cheers for the update guys, just managed to get on, but DR Case Zero won't d/load now, guess I'll wait it out
