Want to import a U.S. Gamecube, where to go?

Need to find somewhere with a relatively good price for an import Cube for a mate of mine, he wants a platinum really, but beggars cant be choosers.

Also trying to avoid import tax, but cant see how this is possible.

Anyone got any ideas??, or even a 2nd hand one you know of?, yes: I`ve put a post in the wanted section

i'd go to play-asia and get a jap one with a switch, if you just want to play usa games then don't switch it back to jap - but at least your mate can if he chooses to in the future

good prices there too, ask em nicely and they should be able to mark the package down to avoid customs, dont bank on UPS not catching on thou, in which case you'll get stung for about ?30 - I think EMS are the better bet but there are no guarentees, but then there isn't with importing from the US either!

I would also go with play-asia. I ordered it from there and they marked down the price for me. I think it was down to ?40. I got about ?10 tax plus a ?10 handling fee at the door. Still worth the money I recon. Came damn quick too. Despatched within the day I ordered and came the next Tuesday after I ordered on the Thursday. Plus I live in an area with no UPS depot.

Good prices on the site, but the shipping is ?35 for a cube/gba player pack, and I think thats too much, add on a bit of import tax, and it gets really expensive
