Macbook 13" Second Hand Value

I am going to be selling my macbook 13" unibody aluminium soon and I was wondering what sort of price I would be looking at for it as I really have no idea of a macs sell on value when it comes to laptops.

Spec:

Leopard
2.00Ghz Core Duo
2GB Ram
500GB HDD (465.76 GB)
9400m 256mb

Any ideas would be great as to what I should be looking at. Do people on various places consider pickup as I am based in Newcastle and really don't want to post this out anywhere.

Probably around £500 - though check Ebay. Macs generally have a good resale value.

You could post an ad on Gumtree or Craigslist

Problem with local ads is you do invite the arseholes of the world to your home address.

Well I thought it was time to change back to a desktop from the macbook as I need the extra screen space and power. I don't suppose you happen to know how much chargers sell on for as I have two?

While I am at it is the lower end iMac worth getting now or is there to be an update soon?

Be warned if you go the Ebay route: Laptops attract scam artists like flies.

Don't accept zero feedback bids (configure this to be done automatically), don't ship outside of the UK under any circumstances.

The iMac was updated in July 2010 and was previously updated in Nov 2009, so you may get an update in a few months, chances are any update will be in the new year - but that's a guess.

The RRP for the PSU is either ?49.99 (60watt) or ?59.99(85watt)
