    PSP Go Component Cable

I just tried this for the first time the other day.

Wow. It is super fuzzy and seems to be locked at 480p.

Is there any way to improve the resolution or add borders to make this looks anywhere near reasonable?

It is 480p only IIRC. Always looked ok on my TV though (32" LCD). It's never going to look great; the native res of psp is only 272 vertical lines.

      Ok.

I tried Wipeout and it looked a bit pants. 26'' Panny.

Maybe I'll try it on the bigger screen 42'' LG and see how it looks.

      Ta.

Just tried Crash Team Racing on my PSP go to 40" Bravia. Looked as I'd expect a PS1 to look I guess.

I guess I just expected more - don't know why really - it's just a cable, not a hardware upscaler...

You'd need a bloody good upscaler to make 480x272 look any good on a 1080p screen..

An XRGB-2 might do it, with very heavy scanlines mind.

Actual PSP games look decent on my 26" Bravia. I found PS1 games look better in 4:3 interlaced mode.
              Kept you waiting, huh?
