microsoft wireless optical blue mouse problem

the mouse works fine most of the time but once in a while the mouse stops responding so then i turn the mouse over and see the red light flashing like theres no tomorrow......

if i leave the mouse for a while its stops flashing mad but then if i use it it flashes like mad again.....

any idea wats going on?
i've tried changing batteries but same happens. ( i use rechargeable ones)

Do you get the same problem with normal batteries, rechargables don't work well in some devices.

Is this the bluetooth mouse? If so then I'm having the same problem and it seems to be that Bluetooth and mice is just ****e. It eats batteries and the bluetooth device loses the mouse regularly - avoid avoid avoid.

not the bluetooth one just the normal optical wireless.

hm... normal batteries didnt seem to do the trick but its gona ok again now.

just hope it stay that way.......
