Virgin Media Cable Extension

Hello,

Changing my room about and I'm moving my tv etc to a different area and have realised the cable for my V+ box is too short even though I asked the guy to leave me a good few feet of slack!

I dont know what type of cable this is so does anyone know if you can get extensions for it or whatever? Easiest solution possible please as I don't want to have to start stripping cables out the box and doing manly stuff!

All the painting and building furniture etc is enough.

Prob best to start with a whole new cable at the point it comes inside.

I think it's just a regular coaxial cable, the same as a sky box, you should be able to buy an extension cable at maplin or online no doubt

Coaxial? Isn't that a sound cable? I used coaxial to connect my Sky box to my amp for surround sound I'm sure.

Coaxial Cable is uber generic and used for everything from composite video to component video to digital surround.
