Joystick Recommendation

Hi. I'm looking for a decent PC joystick. Mainly for space games like X/X2 (when it comes), the X:Wing games, Freespace 1 & 2, and Starlancer.
I was wondering if anyone could advise me on any particuarly good joysticks to get.
I had a great Logitech Wingman Extreme from a few years ago, but it doesn't work very well anymore, and I want a USB one anyway, to resolve some compatibility issues.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I always use a saitek cyborge 3d, no flashy force feed back crap. But you can ajust the joystick to fit your own hand. Very cool... and can also be transformed into a joystick for left handed people...
