HDMI Cables - Are price and quality really linked?

Fairly simple question (and I think that I already know the answer, tbh) - apologies for the n00bishness of it.

I'm in need of another HDMI cable (for my XBOX 360). Ideally, I don't want to spend more than ?10 on one - the cheaper the better, in fact.

But, are HDMI cables really much of a muchness or is it really a case of you get what you pay for?

A £2 cable will do the job just fine. No difference in signal quality between that and £200 cable.

Until you get to something like 5m+ it makes no difference. It's digital, so all is fine - if the cable isn't up to it, you won't get a lesser picture, you'll get either a ****load of blocking and drop-outs, or no picture at all.
