Recently my 60gb US PS3 succumbed to the YLOD. I wondered if anyone had advice on the best place to get it fixed, preferably somewhere local. I live in Warrington in the North-West of England.
I bought a slim UK model but would really like my original PS3 fixed and use it primarily just to play my NTSC PS2 games as I really don't want to work the system too hard playing PS3 games; maybe that's a myth though and it doesn't really matter what you play on the system as it will eventually heat up anyway.
So, I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone recommended some good local places to get it fixed and who do a professional job with a decent warranty.
