    Cassette Tapes on pc's ?

    Hi guys

a big big question needed for your help, quite simply, is there any way of getting my cassette tapes on my pc? The reason for this being im a big drum n bass addict and have lots of tapes, which i would like to somehow get onto my ipod! Now if this is possible, please explain !

    Thanks In Advance

    Tape in tape deck.
Line Out from deck to Line In on PC/Mac.
Use a Line In recorder app (Goldwave(pc) can do this but there are many free apps out there).
    Press Record on PC/Mac.
    Press play on tape.
When done convert wav file to chosen format.

    Common sense really fella.

The original IBM PC had a casette player. I don't think that'll help though

For extra bonus points while you've got your cassette deck wired up to the PC, there are actually one or two Spectrum emulators that will actually load games from tape properly, so you don't have to hunt for snapshots online. Its great...
