The Xbox RCE Question

Ok, Edandersen has convinced me that getting my Xbox chipped would be a good idea, for neither of my DVD players are Prog Scan enabled and I've just laid my hands on a Hidef kit.

Here is the question

Can a chipped PAL Xbox run Region 1 RCE DVDs or will it fall foul to such a scummy way of increasing profit margains? If so, which chip would be best? Cookie for the first person who helps me out Cheers!

Install DVD Region X V2 and all should be okay. Runs my US XXX and Charlies Angels with no probs.
