SCART switching unit

I currently use a Holdan HSR1000, supports x4 RGB devices and an additional x3 composite (or S-Video over SCART). It can even route SPDIF simultaneously, and has a few other outputs for Hi-Fi etc. The remote is pretty basic but does the job, and the LED readout is useful, especially for recording.

Not sure. I have a Vivanco SBX-99, apparently it was given a 'What Video' magazine Best Buy award at the time. I'd guess yours is an earlier model. I've certainly been happy with the way my one has performed but apart from telling you that sorry I can't help.

Edit: just checked and Amazon.co.uk still sell your model and there are few, if any, negative comments about it in the customer reviews. You have to treat such reviews carefully but when there are a fair number and they're all positive it's generally a good sign.
