Astro A40 Wireless

Has anyone else taken the plunge and bought the new wireless mixamp from Astro?

I have just ordered the A40 Headset and wireless MixAmp bundle which should hopefully arrive tomorrow.

I kept looking trying to justify the price but in the end just bought it anyway!

Here's hoping it is as good as people make out.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of it when you get a chance.

I've got the wired A40 system so I know how awesome they sound, and seeing how the wireless one is setup (still lots of wires!), it doesn't really look as though it'd be any more convenient so I doubt I'll "upgrade".

Of particular interest though would be whether any hissing/buzzing is introduced with it going wireless?

I've also got a Turtle Beach headset, which is pretty good, especially since its totally wireless, but it has an inherrent faint hiss and prone to occasional crackling sounds etc. Anything similar to report with the A40?

I'm rocking a A40 System (non-wireless) and I love it. You get a really nice sense of space in your miiiiiiiiind.

Love it!

The sound quality is fantastic (although not had a wired to compare against)

Very simple to set up as it comes pre paired out of the box.
