3D on Ps3 what am i missing?

Right I've a samsung ps50C680 3dtv. I got the matching 3dbluray player with it as well.
I'm using the same hdmi lead for the 3dbr and the ps3. The tv automatically knows when it's getting a 3d signal from the 3dbr, but not the ps3. I can't find anything in the ps3 settings about 3d.

Are you having problems with all 3D content on the PS3 or is it just certain games and films?

Redo your output settings (where you select what resolutions your tv supports) and it should detect your tv is 3d also and asks if you want to enable it. If it doesn`t, put your tv in 3d mode manually then run the output settings options, see if that works.

You're connecting directly to the TV, right, not through an AV receiver?

I had been in the display settings before to set the res to 1080p as my old set only did 1080i, didn't see any 3d options that time tho.
