    Neo Geo Pocket Colour questions

    Hi,

Ive dug out my NGPC and the backup battery has either failed, or is very low. The handheld complains about the battery, when I power it on.
I had a look on a NGPC wiki, and it states the handheld uses a 'Lithium CR2032 battery'
I opened up the circular pannel on the back, and for some odd reason, I could see no battery at all
Does the battery get placed under the circular pannel? Or would one have to take the whole unit appart to get at the battery.
How easy is it to find a 'Lithium CR2032 battery'? Could one find this battery with your usual batterys in an average shop, or is it more of a specialist battery.

How easy is it to mod the console to have backlight/front light?
Like the GBA has the Afterburner mod, does the NGPC have some sort of equivalent?

    Cheers for reading,
    Dan.

CR2032 are as cheap as chips on ebay. It just goes in, when you remove the cover. You do not need to take it apart at-all.

You don't need a battery there at all, it'll work fine without one, you'll just get that message every time you fire it up. It only keeps track of the internal clock and a few other preferences.
