My other half is coming to England in December and she's interested in getting her US PS2 modded up. Seeing as there's no way in hell she can get it done over, the idea was to get it done here. Sadly London Consoles only do version 5 onwards and she owns a version 4. Is there anywhere within London or abouts that would be able to do a v4 PS2 with a chip within the space of her visit (a week)?

I had a V4 and the prices I was quoted for getting it chipped (off those who were prepared to do it, apparently it's a nightmare), were in the region of ?110+.
May be worth her just getting a pre-modded machine...? -

It's not THAT difficult to do. The main problem for chip installers is that they don't want any trouble with costumers who mess up their consoles by using burnt DVD's.Comment
