    Wii VGA cable advice.

I'm thinking of picking up a Wii again to play the likes of Super Mario Galaxy 2, Zelda Skyward Sword and Donkey Kong Country Returns amoungst others. The only problem is that I've sold my TV and now do all my gaming through a 24" 1080p monitor. Can anyone recommend a good set of VGA cables ?

I think a Wii component cable would be your best bet. Does the wii even do vga?

No. You'll need to buy some sort of converter cable or box.

I thought there was that PS3/Wii to VGA cable that you can use. Works by setting the Wii to component video..

        Alternatively an HD Box Pro:

I've got a VDigi Wii VGA cable. Not used it that much to be honest but it seems to give a pretty decent picture on my 26" HDTV.

I think HD Box Pro might be best, then you could hook up PS2 or whatever else that outputs component. heh

Will Virtual Console games work using a HD box pro ?

Yeah they will as it handles more signals. I remember reading on Neogeo.com that that VGA cable had problems with it.

Cool that does seem like the best bet then. Although I did also come across this

If it worked it solves my problem and I can just swap the same hdmi cable I use for the ps3/360 into it.
