easiest way to access my home computer from my GF'S house

i have my computer at home and often stay at my GF's place is there a easy way to acces it remotely from her computer ?

If you've windows professional you can use remote desktop otherwise you'll probably need a service like gotomypc.

If you're just after files you can set up your own FTP (only viable if your ISP gives you a static IP).

You could use logmein.com free to actually remote control your PC.
If you want access to your files, without leaving your PCs/laptops on, you could use sugarsync (affiliate link).

I always use Teamviewer for this sort of thing, works very well.

One more for both LogMeIn and Team Viewer. Both of those are completely free(no trials) and just work. I haven't used LMI much but Team Viewer has a little emergency version(QS) that just runs without needing to install it. Team Viewer also has a free iPhone/iPad app(LMI's app is £17.99!) which is quite cool.
