    Worth selling or just dumping?

Got these parts from my old PC and just wondered what I should do with them.

    Processor is a AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 1.80GHz

From what I remember one is 512Mb the other 256Mb

Worth a punt on the bay or should I just bin them?

I've found there's always a need for people to maintain older machines, so I say at least see if they go for anything decent on eBay (look at completed auctions) before chucking them. If it's worth you listing them there...

Definitely dont chuck them, that motherboard and graphics card are faster than my brothers PC!

DDR1 is also getting hard to find nowadays, so I imagine the 512MB would sell for a reasonable amount.

Ebay - probably worth around the £50 mark - maybe more

Even if they don't sell for too much it's worth putting them on just to get the feedback rather than just binning them I'd say.

Agree, if it is still working, put it on ebay or if you really want to get rid of it, chuck it to a charity shop or recycling centre, anything is better than stock piling them in a landfill site.

You've decent amount towards a HTPC there. £50 on ebay sounds about right.
