    Soundcard with optical out?

    I want to hook up my pc to my surround sound system but unfortunately my Soundblaster X-FI Card doesn't have optical out. I'm hoping to find one that is on par with that in terms of quality and performance. The cheaper the better.

    If iirc creative used to sell a digital I/O module for the X-FI series, which adds coaxial and optical out. Maybe check on ebay?

      Yeah looked for one of them but they are £30. Noticed that the X-FI Xtreme Gamer soundcard has them onboard at a cheaper price. I'll just go for the card i think.
