I've always been a fan of minimal business style laptops, gpu performance isn't important to me so intel graphics is fine. I have a budget of £500 including delivery and I'm thinking 15.6 laptops are a bit too big, my current is a 14.1.
i3 would be nice, 2 or 3GB ram, hard disk size is pretty much unimportant. The more minimal the better.
I'm currently very tempted by the HP probook 13.3" which is here:
Can anyone see the difference between the 5320m and the 4320s? http://www.euroland-computers.co.uk/...partno=WD899EA
ah, the 5320m is a thin client, has no usb and no optical drive.
Cheapest price I've found so far inc delivery.
If anyone has any suggestions for similar laptops, please let me know, but I'm a fussy bugger and will automatically discount Acer, Packard Bell and all that shiz, and will always prefer Intel based.
Cheers.
I did look at the HP G62 abigsmurf posted in the other recommendation thread, and I could get one for £300 on ebay, but I had a look at one in person today and the screen bezel really annoyed me as it was so thin and plasticky, felt a bit acer. I've worked in acer repair centres before so I've seen what goes into them, and will never own one personally.
