Does anyone know of any cheap way to convert a PAL xbox to a USA one. I'm guessing that its just the BIOS that's different (and power), so is there a way of reflashing the BIOS with the official US one?

Best thing to do is get it chipped, that way you can change the eeprom setting from PAL to US anytime you want. -
But then surely when i turn the modchip off, the XBOX won't be able to play US games anymore?
The reason I ask is so I can play XBOX Live in progressive scan. The only way I can think of doing that is with a US XBOX. Is there another way?Comment
