Internet explorer problem

For some reason I don't seem to be able to downlaod files at all I have no idea why... when i click on say a movie, zip or exe file to download the file download dialogue appears but no data is actually received.... Normal internet surfing is fine...

any ideas?

You should first try the obvious one, reinstall IE6.0.

If that doesn't work you should get an browser like Opera or Mozilla(both much better than IE)

But if you want to hold on to IE you could just get a download manager like Flashget

sorted now..... twas a bloody worm
