christ i've had this for ages now and have forgotten all about it
    thx for reminding me

its never even been in the DC yet, so what are your impressions

I dunno how rare it is but i have the Prima Official Stratedgy Guide for H-life on the DC, which i think also includes blue shift
i bought it from EB, as soon as it was announced that the game was never gonna be released.

hmm i wonder how much that'll fetch on the ebay in 10years or so............

if u have a PC with anything above a pentium 2 in it, play it on that instead. :P poorly optimised (obviously) juddery and with annoyingly long loading times.

If not, it's not bad. hehe

Its not the final release so thats one reason why you might think its juddery, Also remember the PC version won't run with less than 32megs or Ram and the DC is packing 16.

There is also a bug in this leaked version that causes a fault with the maple bus, It seriously affects the framerate and smoothness if 3rd party pads or mem cards are inserted in the DC, Strange but true.

For a non final version (There were 2 further builds after this, you can get the version number if you make it crash ) its pretty respectable as a WinCE port.

Half-life on the DC is a final version. And it is slow, it does judder and is pretty useless if you ask me.

Not unless you're a DC purist who prefers DC games because of more slowdown than the others.

As I said in my post it is NOT the final build Sierra created.

Aren't you rumoured to own a copy of the final version? :O

I don't see what the issue is, I was playing this earlier today and for a game that is pretty much finished it's not that bad.
