Anyone using virgin media broadband?

For the past 2 days my internet has been running at sub dialup speeds, it's meant to be a 10 meg connection but i cant even download a 15 meg file as the estimated time shoots up to over an hour.

Anyone else been having speed problems using virgin? I thought it might have been my pc but i tried my 360 with my connection & thats the same problem.

I'm on Virgin and no probs, when on 10mb it was not as good so upgraded to 30 for the same price. It is throttled some times but generally get the full 30. I am on cable however and live close to the city centre.

Someone I know has been having other issues with his line, it's probably best to give them a call but expect to go through the basic questions first.

I recently posted on the support forums about the problems I was having and someone posted and told me there were problems with the local router and it was due for repair
