    Lara+Sonic+Tony Hawk=?

I'm getting an N-Gage for Chrimbo, can anyone tell me what game I should get with it? Also, some links to decent reviews of N-Gage games would be helpful.
    Cheers.
Oh hang on, one more thing. Are N-Gage games region locked?

    Wotcha fellow Oxfordian.

Anyway, Super Monkey Ball? (Has framerate issues)
    Pandemonium?
    Ummm....Red Faction
Don't know if these are all out before Chrimbo though.

Besides, you don't want too many. It's a pan to change cartridges on the move apparently.

Yeah, the controls for TR are seriously ****ed up. Very pretty game, but very ****.

I was going to say that too, but I fear we might be too late to stop him. Nokia has turned him to the dark side. We must do something before it's too late. Quick, lend me your GBA SP and import copy of FFTactics. I'll urrr make sure he gets it....

            I don't know if I'd waste a lynx...

I don't want to sound like a complete dick, but the guy said he wants advice on which games to buy for an N-Gage, not a comment on how good it is. We have an N-Gage bitch thread already, and while it may be benefical to advise away from certain consoles, or to offer more information for a more well rounded decision... do we really need to take every oportunity to complain?

                  Fair point Nips, soooooo
I had a little play in Virgin Oxford St.
Tony Hawks was ok if you don`t mind a sluggish frame rate.
Pandemonium played ok but not my kind of thing.
Tomb Raider played ok, not as sluggish as I thought it would be, if it wasn`t for the awfull controls I could be tempted to have Lara in my pocket.
?200!!!!!! If they half the price I could be tempted.

I've bought one.. the games have now been copied onto larger MMC's so you could buy a 512MB and have your games/music and apps on the one card.. so the swap issue is not really a issue.

Its cost me ?25 with a copy of TR chucked in, t-mobile tariff which is only 13 a month with 750 off peak calls.. so after a year and (100 + hours of free calls) its still will cost less than the sim free price.. so its not that expensive.

And don't forget you have 100's of apps and games which also run on the 3650/7650..

As to which games check out gamespy.com and ngage.ign.com they have reviews of all the games available. I reckon tony Hawks and TR are good to start with

                      OOOOH!!!
You've just made it a thousand times more tempting...
Pity I've already played the two best games a long, long time ago. Still this makes it a bit more acceptable.

So is there like no copy protection on this at all then? Oh dear. I'm really surprised; its something I wouldn't expect the likes of Eidos and Activision to agree to.

I think there is copy protection but it has already been broken!

Yes, but rather than actually use the vertical screen properly, it sticks two play areas side-by-side and then takes up the bottom half of the screen with giant pictures of Bub and Bob. I despair. Also, it looks nowhere near as playable as GBC Bust A Move 4.
