can i use my pc internet connection and share it with phone

my phones internet is pretty rubbish recently i found a program so i can use my phone as a wireless router (so i can connect my psp online) but ideally i would like the phone JUST to act as a router and it to connect online via my pc (which is much faster ) is there anyway to do this ? via usb cable
