    Virgin.net Home ADSL

Just wondered if anyone used them, and if they are any good?

Im currently living at home, so im wanting free instalation + minimum contract of no more than 3 months. Reason: Trying to find a room/place to live

So obviously i dont want to be tied down to a 12 month contract.

Virgin's is 3 months, and free instalation, but it all seems a little too good to be true.

Any other isps that can be recommended?

    Cheers

    (Hope someone posts )

Installation is free presumably as you're tied to a 3 month contract, if I read that right. Most providers have a 1 month rolling contract.

Try ADSLguide, there will more than likely be a write-up of Virgin.net

I just signed up for Virgin.net as it happens. Everything seems to be fine so far. As I understand you only have to give 30 days notice to end the connection which was one of the reasons for me signing up for the deal in the first place.

The BT connection fee is indeed free (a saving of ?50!). You can get a modem pack from them for ?25 (on offer it's normally ?50) which basically gives you a USB modem and the stuff you need to get connected. I've had some problems with USB before so I bought my own modem elsewhere and it works fine with that.
