Hi guys, I'm looking for a decent graphics package that will allow me to define the geometry mathematically rather than through physically drawing it. I'm going to be picking up a copy of Painter 12 for more naturalistic art work but need something like this for a more graphic design orientated bent. Any recommendations? Thanks.

I think Inkscape only has very rudimentary measurement features.
I presume this is serious since you are going to plonk down a few hundred already? Are you looking or willing to do the same for the vector part?
If you only need basic structural vector shizzle it might be worth looking at CAD programs. Draftsight will let you enter in specific lengths/angles/radii and is freeware but it only handles DWG's.

Cheers guys, I'll have a play around with both of those this weekend. Open Source is always good, but I'm not adverse to going to a couple of hundred for this. For our first project we're only really going to be using it for the company logo, but I'll definitely be going for a much more vector based route for some titles further down the line.
