Help re: Turtle Beach X11 Setup with receiver

Guys,

I am trying to setup my X11 headset for my 360.

However: I am running it through a receiver...and just can't get it to work. The headset is supposed to plug into the 360 and TV: I plugged it into the receiver and I get nothing...

Any ideas?

I have checked Google etc but to no avail. NOTHING WORKS!

I'm confused by your post....does it work when connecting directly to the 360/TV?

I have tried plugging the headset into the TV but no luck.
My 360 runs through the receiver so I tried the corresponding slots on there and still no luck. The sound still comes out of the speakers and not the headset...REALLY annoying...

Plugging it straight into the headphone jack in the tv should work, have you got the headset powered through USB?

My tv has a setting for the headphones, maybe yours does and the volume is down on the settings?

Or maybe if you are using an HDMI receiver, the receiver isn't sending sound out to the TV at all.

Connect your xbox directly to the tv and the headphones direct to the tv

I really don't want to unplug the receiver from the 360...

And yep, the headset is powered via USB on the 360. A real pain as I have followed the instructions. Grrr...gadgets are great when they work....

(I am away this weekend so will try it again on Monday)
