cheapest/easiest solution to play UK games on a Jp Saturn?

I have a Japanese Derby Stallion Saturn and really want to play Panzer Dragoon Saga again. I have the UK version so need a work-around to play it on my Japanese system. Can anyone recommend and easy option to be able to do this (chip, switch, cart?). And if it's a mod you're recommending is there anyone on the forum who can do this?

Luckily for you the Pal version of PDS isn't optimised so all you'd need is an Action Reply or Universal Adaptor Cartridge and you'l be good to go.

Pal optimised games tend to run iffy at 60hz but the majority of them weren't anyway. Also IIRC because it wasn't optimised in the slightest the Pal version of PDS actually suffers from graphics corruption in places on a pal machine!

Oh and just remembered that if you use an action replay then it will come up with a message asking you to remove the cartridge. Easily solved by saving these codes into the cartridge......

Thanks for the advice I've never used an Action Replay or Universal Adapter. Can I buy any model of these and they'll work or will I need to check on specific versions?

And once in can I load a game as normal (ie no swapping discs or anything)?

To be honest I'd def go for the action replay to guarentee you can boot it with the cartridge in.

You can buy the latest version for around 20quid delivered I think from the usual play-asia or robb clara's store that I believe is consolegoods.com

Simply put the cartridge in the console with a pal/usa game, go through the menu and itl boot. Obviously with pds you'l have to input the codes above once for it to work but itl then save it on the cart for next time.

Just as an extra the carts also act as 1mb and 4mb adaptoers so you can play games like xmen vs streetfighter without the official cart.

And finally you'l be able to back up your savegames on it too. Essential purchase in my opinion
