    Wii output 480p through VGA

Does any know if it's possible to output an RGB 480p signal from the Wii? Is there a Wii VGA cable out there? I'm thinking of getting an SLG-3000 for use with my X68000 and was wondering about the possibility of running the Wii through it. I mostly use my Wii for Gamecube games so it'd be great if i could display it with scanlines through the SLG3000. I suppose i could get a component to VGA converter but i think this may degrade the PQ.

There is a 480p Wii VGA cable, but it won't display 240p stuff like virtual console. I think it will display 480i though I might be wrong..

I'll only be running 480p stuff anyway so that sounds fine. I'll try and track one down and give it a go.

Something like that would do. The Wii thinks it's outputting component, but it'll be outputting VGA instead.

I've just tried using Wii component cable into my amp then from the amp used a component to VGA cable out, works a treat. 480i worked fine as well.

Always thought the Wii component was YPbPr for some reason.

Yeah i've just checked the signal coming through and it's YPbPr, didn't think my projector would do anything other than RGB over VGA.
