Donkey Konga Prices

I've been having a mooch at different sites for DK prices.
Play-Asia are the cheapest i think. Game and extra controller comes in at ?96 deliverd but i've heard if you use a courier (and that's all you can do with this game) you'll get slaped with import tax etc.

jpnvideogames come in at about ?120 (+ ?7.50) for the same package. About ?31 more but guaranteed no extra charges.

Last time i checked on Goblin it wasn't listed.

Anyone else have anymore prices?

Lik-Sang are doing it slightly cheaper on both the game and shipping (but still couriered).

Am i right in saying people rarely get charged import duty with Tokuda/Venom ?
And is EMS the special delivery option they do?

I've never once been charged Import Tax when using Tokuda or Venom, and during my time in using their services, I've had a PS2, Taiko no Tatsujin, GC Keyboard, Tatacon etc.

EMS is the delivery option I would go for, since my goods have often shown up between 2-4 days of being shipped from Japan - and has a better chance of getting through customs as well IMO.

Errrm, Lik Sang are doing the game + controller package for ?40 and an extra controller for ?20, with free postage.

I just went through the Lik Sang checkout procedure with Donkey Konga and one extra controller put each in a seperate order and the combined Global Priority shipping comes to $44.-.

In this way you save on shipping and (at least from my experience in the past) will be spared from customs/tax. Game ($65.90) + extra controller ($34.95) incl. shipping ($44,-) will be $144.85 then (about ?85,66).

If you put them both in one order, only courier services will be available (Global has a $ 100.- limit apparently) and UPS cost is then $ 50.- (+ almost certainly customs + tax).

Global Priority shipments cannot be tracked online. There is no brokerage charge involved as Carriers such as UPS or FedEx may claim for in certain countries!

I've been using Global since they started to offer it and had my packages arrive at my door within 5 to 12 days after they shipped it. Check back with them if you want to make sure. All I can say is that it can't be beat, because it's cheap, very reliable and again, I never had to pay customs/tax when I went with Global.

If you choose a courier service, they are usually able to deliver it within 3 to 4 days. But prepare to pay for service fees, customs/tax using UPS, FedEx and the like.

I had to pay taxes in the past. But that was a package worth over $100 and I forgot to ask them if they could lower the value (which they do, but not automatically :/ )

I figure I might order (in separate) the game and one bongo from Lik-Sang, and two bongos from PlayAsia (to also use coupons)...
