DS lite wont charge

I've got a DS lite that won't charge. It used to be fine but recently I changed the entire casing and it won't seem to charge. I thought it was still working after the case change but can't remember for sure. No charge light comes on. It was still working but the battery light was at red. The battery is now complete flat.

Could this be a blown fuse?

I forgot the mention that, the charger is fine with another DS and the battery is also ok.
