    Ridge Racer V question (JAP)

Do I play the game in 4:3 or widescreen mode

    #2
If you have a widescreen TV, play it wide screen. If you have a 4:3 tv, play it 4:3.

Or were you asking us to guess?

I guess you switch your tv to smart mode because you just can't decide

Then you'll have a distorted pic.

You'll need to either play it in 4:3 or zoomed.

I play all games on a 16:9 screen, if there is a 16:9 mode in the game even better, but I would rather play seeing the whole screen than zooming in, and I use a projector so don't want to get 4:3 bars burnt onto the screen.

Surely this isn't much of a problem. If it is, aren't you going to get 16:9 bars when you're watching DVDs with wider ratios?

yeah but I may sit and watch a film in using it but I have the lights off and teh contrast alot lower, and am usually finishished within 2 hours.
Gamining tends to be alot longer and the contratst is alot higher.

Anyway I can tell if the ratio of real life characters are out of proportion, and to be honest I dont give a **** if mario is 4ft instead of the 5ft he is meant to be, or if a car looks slightly wider and lower than in real life it doesnt effect gameplay so who really cares ?? I may start getting anal about it when the machines become more realistic but for now I just enjoy the game.
