Cheap Digital Coaxial cables

They're based in the US, but have found their service to be excellent on the few times I used them in the past. Also quite like their optical cables, far more flexible and less likely to break than a lot of other types.

The ebay seller I bought from recommended a phono jack to connect my current cable to another to extend the overall length.

Any idea if this will reduce audio quality?

edit: 5m of shielded for ?4 delivered on ebay.

I take it the fact that they're not gold plated makes no difference to their shielding effectiveness?
