Whats going on with Playstation Network?

I have forgotten my password to log into PSN. So I have repeatedly asked for it to be emailed to me and nothing ever arrives.

I then thought I could try and either log in using my PC or give up and create a new account. However for the last week now I keep getting a message telling me that the servers are down.

Does anyone know whats going on currently? Its really annoying me.

The web "I've forgotten my password" page is indeed knackered. Go here and try and sort it out that way. Has worked for some people:
