Import 3DS charging query

Just a quick question that I'm 99% sure of but just want to be totally sure - would the step down converter I use for my Japanese/US Wii and Japanese DSi be fine for charging my Japanese 3DS? Like I said, I'm sure it would be, but just in case there is any different in power etc. Thanks!

That was going to be my quick question asking... if I get a 3DS, it'll be a US one. So a UK DSi or 3DS charger will be fine for it...

No, the plug is different. DSi, DSi XL and 3DS all share the same plug.
